PHOTOGRAPHY....
In 2006 I received my first digital camera and that was when my enthusiasm for photography was rekindled. But in June of this year I moved on to a DSLR ( thanks to some very hefty discounts from the university photography group!) So now my kit is an Olympus E510. I am still learning the ropes, and by no means have discovered all the wonderful things it can do but am loving the journey and enjoying all kinds of photography....
Everything around me....
I like to find the obscure angle in everyday objects. The smallest detail in the most mundane thing can make it look bizarre. Some times a piece of driftwood on a beach can make better photographs than the beach itself, but sometimes it is the beach itself that makes the photograph.
A lot of my work is of the natural world simply because living in the countryside and working with animals that is mostly what I see from day to day.
