Since September 2006 when adoptavet was launched donations received have varied from £1 to £100 Thank you to all those who have supported the campaign. I've been in Liverpool now for about 6 weeks and I am absolutely loving the course! We are learning anatomy, histology, and pharmacology, as well as biochemistry and cell biology. I've been through the HACS, (animal handling) course, where we learnt how to handle dogs, cats and horses, (not a problem for me!) and pigs, sheep and cows, (not so used to them!) The work load is currently building up in time for the 1st lot of exams, which sadly are in January, (no holidays for me!) but am very much used to being a student once more, and feel at an advantage having done a degree already, if not financially!!! Pet Problems? Do you have a problem pet that you'd like some help with? If so I may be able to help. I've spent all my life around animals and have 15 years experience of horses as well as a BSc (hons) degree in Equine Science so if you're at your wits end, needing an answer or just wondering something drop me an email.....the adoptavet email is no longer accessible as I'm on a university internet connection, everything can be sent to jotravers@hotmail.com or jotravers@hotmail.com Adoptavet in the News In March
